Therapy is a collaboration where the two of us work together to help you feel better about yourself and the life you live. There are many ways to achieve this. I use an active approach to help you understand your emotional experience and the impact it is having on your thoughts and behaviors.
The healing happens when we are able to connect to dots of the impact your meaningful relationships have had on the thoughts and beliefs you have about yourself and the world. You are the expert of your life and know it better than anyone else. I am here to help you become aware of the barriers that keep you from living a joyful and authentic life.
I believe three things:
1- There is a resilient self, a higher self, a self at best that lives and dwells within each one of us and our goal is to bring that part of you out into full expression
2- There is no trauma too great that it cannot be healed. With an open heart and a thoughtful approach, I believe any wound can be healed and transformed.
3- I practice what I teach and offer to others. I am constantly doing my own work because I can’t take anyone any place that I haven’t gone myself.
